Enjoyed my stay with a spacious room and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of eateries nearby. I recommend reserving parking in advance, as spots are limited. Don't miss the nearby cafes for breakfast, but opt for local spots instead.

I snagged the ultimate breakfast vibe at Universel Dejeuners et Grillades PEEL, just a hop away, where their pancakes are fluffy cloud dreams! The staff at Ambrose House were absolute gems, super sweet and helpful, making my stay cozy. Plus, the café in the lobby served up killer coffee and pastries to fuel my adventures.

Now, the steep stairs were a bit of a trek after a long day, and the parking situation was confusing. I also had to wait for the cleaning crew after check-in—awkward timing, right? And there was some pretty loud noise from repairs early in the morning.

I appreciated having a café in-house for morning coffee. The location is perfect for exploring Montreal, close to McGill and shops. The room itself was cozy but could’ve used a bit more attention during cleaning. A quick look under the couch revealed some debris and dust on the floor. I also missed having a fridge for drinks. While the bed was comfortable, I found the walls a bit thin. I could hear my neighbor’s alarm clock at 4 am, which was frustrating. Still, the atmosphere and friendly service made my stay quite enjoyable.

The double room was super comfy and had all I needed. Air conditioning, private bathroom, shampoo, and towels were there. It’s right near Mount Royal and the staff were nice. Got my coffee fix in the cozy cafe. Perfect spot to relax after exploring the area!
